The Question: What do you think your character, Imperial crewman named Derdram, would be doing in the galaxy today? Years after the original trilogy.
Derdram was actually more than just a desk officer; his primary, and most secret role, was as Darth Vader's private medical physician.
He was a true confidante, incredibly loyal, and when Vader died, Derdram removed a huge number of secret files, faked his own death, and fled. Derdram, resurfaced later as the head of Mardred Industries, A huge pharmacutical company.
He never accepted the that Vader gave up the Dark Side at the point of his death. At an underground facility on the planet Phoenicia, Derdram has spent thirty years creating an army of perfect Darth Vader clones and and is close to reaching the point when under his leadership as the Emperor, the High Admiral Mardred, he will lead a New Empire that will seize total control of the Galaxy.

What do you think your character, 4-LOM, would be doing in the galaxy today? Years after the original trilogy.

Here's my thoughts on your question.
As an actor, it was nice to portray a character that has certain requirements for a good business platform, which I think is a bit like myself. 4-LOM (FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY) was he , if indeed 4-LOM is a he, only interested in money and would do anything for it or did he have some morals somewhere in his hard drive that forced aside any decent thoughts so that he could just concentrate on the job in hand, ie do what was asked of him and collect the reward.
I would hope that as years have gone by, his mind set might have developed through AI and he would now only accept contracts on the most unpleasant characters, he has mellowed........but who knows!
