John David Bulla Interview
Greg said to me You are a Bad Ass Motherfucker now act like it.

Hello John David Bulla and thank you for your time for the Fans of The Walking Dead.

- John , When was the time you know you want to be an actor?

Ahhhhhhhhh, let's see i started doing plays when I was at a young age of 9.  I've always considered myself as a story teller who became an actor. So, when I knew I could go into these different worlds of Fantasy, Horror, Supernatural, Adventure, Action, Drama, etc..... I knew then that I had found my home in the film industry.

- You worked in one of my Favorite series. "The Walking Dead" How did you get cast ?

Well, there is a casting process you have to go thru that starts as a simple submission. I submitted to a general casting notice that said Big, Mean Tough Look and I knew what The Walking Dead casting email was. So, I sent in my info.  I had been asked several times to be a Zombie on the show. I wasn't about to change my look, cut my hair, or trim my beard. So, I told my good friend Patrick casting director of TWD there will be the right time that I get on TWD. 3 weeks later I get an email sent to me asking my availability for several dates and I couldn't speak a word to no one, because my role was very important. It was Sooooo cool and Top Secret.

- Which role did you play in the series?

I am Negan and I portrayed a Savior that was casted by Greg Nicotero and the other producers. I was chosen to be a Hero Savior a leader of my own group of Saviors like a Lieutenant Commander.  My characters nickname on set was Bad Ass Motherfucker aka B.A.M.F.

- Working in The Walking Dead, What is the first what you remember when you look
back on set?

I was very anxious and nervous at the same time. However, Greg Nicotero, Amazing cast and crew were the best and put me at ease. When I got on set he introduced himself to me and my buddy Johnathan who was the Armorer handed me an AR-15 machine gun and Greg said to me You are a Bad Ass Motherfucker now act like it.

- With a role in TWD/FTWD comes a Big Fan Community, what are your first The Walking
Dead fan experiences?

My buddies and I who were also Saviors.  We were walking around the Heroes and Villains Comic Con in 2016 and I was spotted by a fan. She came up to me and said your a Savior right? I told her yes and my buddies are too. She was Awesome and we took lots of pictures. It was a Surreal moment.

- You not only work in TWD you also work in Godzilla: King of the Monsters , that's right?

Yes, that was an Amazing Film experience where I was a Mercenary under a character by the name of Jonah. Who was portrayed by none other then Charles Dance of Game of Thrones. The Director Michael Dougherty was Amazing to work for and our cast included Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things and Vera Ferminga of the Conjuring films. Some of my closest friends to this day I met on this bad ass project.

- You worked in many other movies/series. What's your personal Highlight so far?

Meeting, networking, and forging great friendships with Beautiful people from all walks of life.  Having  my own Savior Dead Card Collection to hand out to my fans, friends, and family.

- For me as Pro Wrestling Fan I envy you. You worked in 2 Movies with the Actor and WWE Superstar Dwayne The Rock Johnson. Who was this experiences for you?

Dewayne is soooo Awesome to work with and for. He is soooooo nice and genuine. I have been blessed to be apart of 5 Seven Bucks productions including both Jumanji's, Jungle Cruise, Black Adam, and Red Notice. However, I first met Dewayne on Fast 7 where I portrayed a Billionaire Playboy. Then I filmed with him again on Fast 8. It's nice to know that they give me every opportunity thru auditions to land even bigger roles.

- What will we see next from you? Any projects/movies/series?

Currently my great friend Joe Swift and I have started a YouTube podcast called CBJesus where we cover pop culture, Marvel, D.C., Nostalgia, Movies, T.V. , film locations, music, etc .... I am currently filming on a really Cool Bloody Vampire film called Devour. I have several projects starting in the near future but unfortunately I can't speak of them due to NDA contracts. Let's just say it's part of the True Crime genre. As well as a Supernatural Horror Stoner comedy. Then finally a cool Music Biopic.

- Is there any dream role or actor/actress you would loved to work in the future?

Yes, I would love to continue my pathway with Seven Bucks Productions in several upcoming projects. As well as continue my pathway thru the Indie film world especially horror genre and sci-fi. I would love to work with Johnny Depp one day.

- Is there anything else you would like to let TWD Fans and your fans know?

Thank You for being the Best Most Amazing Fan Base in the world. We would not be here if it weren't for our fans. See you soon on the silver screen.

- Thank you being my guest John David Bulla and best wishes for the future. I hope to see you one day in Germany.
