Adam Bresler Interview
I sent in my best zombie impersonation and landed a featured background role as a Warlord Soldier

- Hello Adam Bresler and thank you for your time for the Fans.

- Adam , When was the time you know you want to be an actor?

Long story…. I was doing Krav Maga at my son’s tkd studio when I met Scott Oakley. He was watching his son spar with me. After class Scott waited around just to tell me how good he thought I was at this martial art.

We spent two hours together at that first meeting talking about my struggle with combat related PTSD and at the end he told me he was an actor and that he thought I should consider acting or at least taking classes. He said it could really help as a coping strategy for my ptsd. He said it gives one a safe place to demonstrate all of the emotions we bottle up daily.

Two years later Scott called me out of the blue and invites me to be a featured extra in a movie he was doing. That first day on the set was so exhilarating that I knew this is what I wanted to do as a second career since I had retired from the army. The entire story telling process is just amazing to me.

- You worked in one of my Favorite series. "The Walking Dead" How did you get cast ?

I had tried for years to get on before i finally did. I had met someone that had been on and she told me what casting company was casting background/zombies. I sent in my best zombie impersonation and landed a featured background role as a Warlord Soldier in the final season… which lead time getting to play a Warlord zombie as well as being a stand in and photo double for Aaron (Ross Marquand). It was an amazing experience.

- Which role did you play in the series? Warlord Soldier/Zombie as well as Commonwealth Prisoner.

- Working in The Walking Dead, What is the first what you remember when you look
back on set?

How excited everyone involved was. Teamwork from top to bottom was amazing… and even the long and cold days everyone had a smile on their face and demonstrated their joy for story telling.

- With a role in TWD/FTWD comes a Big Fan Community, what are your first The Walking Dead fan experiences?

My first fan experience was at a watch party in Senoia. A young gentleman recognized me as one of the Warlords. I then pointed out the zombie I played in that watch party episode and later he asked if I would send him an autographed picture from that episode. I obliged.

- You not only work in TWD you also a part in Cobra Kai, that´s right?

correct. I played an upscale friend of Terry Silver in a bidding war at a charity set up by Danielle Larusso. It was fun.

- What will we see next from you? Any projects/movies/series?

Hysteria came out on Peacock last month. I’m currently working on Stranger Things on Netflix and Found on Peacock.

- Is there any dream role or actor/actress you would loved to work in the future?

I really hope I get the chance to work with my friend Sean Kanan from Karate Kid III and the Beautiful and the Beautiful. He’s an amazing human and actor.
