Crystal Butler Interview
I remember being amazed at how much detail went into the set.

- Hello Crystal Butler and thank you for your time for the Fans of The Walking Dead.

- Crystal , When was the time you know you want to be an actress?

I knew I wanted to act after hearing that a mom friend was working on a local show. I thought, what fun! I want to do that! So, I took the next step and was cast.

- Which role did you play in the series?

I began as a photo double for June, played by Jenna Elfman. I became a part time stand in after that, then a parent soldier in the final episode. I was spotted by casting during a fitting for another show & my work assignment was switched from Manhunt to Fear the Walking Dead.

- Working in FTWD, What is the first what you remember when you look back on set?
I remember being amazed at how much detail went into the set. Wow! So many people working together to make it perfect.

- How did your family react when they found out that you were playing in The Walking Dead Universe?

My family was excited about me working on the show!

- With a role in TWD/FTWD comes a Big Fan Community, what are your first The Walking
Dead fan experiences?

I really haven’t had many fan experiences, but a woman whose niece is a fan of Fear the Walking Dead took a selfie with me when she found out d out I had worked on the show.

- Crystal you also work in some other projects when i look at your Facebook. Looks like "Manhunt" maybe? Something you can share with us about ?
I have worked on productions, including some indie productions (Creepy Man 1 & 2, Tress Tripping, and #Casting Call), as well as several commercials and background roles in shows. I’m currently working on a limited series that will wrap up soon. It’s a thriller for Peacock but I can’t reveal any more details!

- Is there any dream role or actor/actress you would loved to work in the future?

I’d love a principal role someday, possibly working with my children who also act. Fingers crossed!

- Is there anything else you would like to let TWD Fans and your fans know?
Fear TWD was a wonderful experience and I will never forget it! I made several lifelong friends while working on Fear. It was a great experience!

- Thank you being my guest Crystal Butler and best wishes for the future. I hope to see you one day in Germany.

Thank you for having me. You may see us in Germany when we visit our former German exchange student in the future.
