- Hello Mary-Elena Moore and thank you for your time for the Fans.

 

- When was the time you know you want to be an actress?
When I became an extra for outer banks, I made a ton of friends on set and learned a lot being on set, and from that moment I realized I wanted to continue and become an actress!

- How did you get cast for the series Fear the Walking Dead?
I submitted for years to be on fear and never got anything back but I didn’t let that stop me and I continuously applied until one day for S8 I got accepted and ended up working for about 3 months on the show!

- How was the moment you realized that you got in the show?
At first I didn’t even believe it! But after I realized it was real and happening all I had was excitement, even on set and after set I was excited every day!

- Which role did you play?
I played a couple of different zombies; burnt zombie, frozen zombie, regular zombie, then at the final days I got to be a water zombie and mud zombie!

- Working with the Main Cast will be a dream of so many fans. How was your time with the Main Cast?
Such an amazing experience!! One of the days on set while being a frozen zombie, we got our feet buried into the ground and I was just doing a little dance to myself because I have energy and Rubén Blades (Daniel) saw me and started singing “we are family” and I bursted out laughing and sang with him and continued to dance 
Another fun moment was when a friend of mine on set wanted a cig to smoke and I didn’t have any but we saw Austin Amelio (Dwight) on his break smoking a cig and it was the perfect moment to ask to get a photo but instead I asked him for a cig for my friend 

- Did you get "killed" in FTWD?
I never got the chance to get myself higher up in the acting community so I didn’t get killed in any zombie shot I was in! I would’ve been excited for it! 


- With a role in TWD Universe comes a Big Fan Community, what are your first The Walking Dead fan experiences?
I remember every Sunday I would have a different friend come over and we’d have snacks and drinks and have a little watch party for  TWD then be super late to school the next day because we’d always have to stay up late talking about the episode we just watched
And if I had to, I would totally do all that again!


- What will we see next from you? Any projects/movies/series?
Since being on FTWD, I have been a stand in for a couple of movies; “bride hard” “may December” “green fairy”
I’ve also been an extra for “bride hard” and “green fairy”
Since 2024 I have not been on anything new yet!!

- Is there any dream role or actor/actress you would loved to work in the future?
My dream is to be in a horror movie! I’m fine being the girl that dies first, being an evil creature, or being a survivor but regardless being in a horror movie has been a dream!! I’d also like to be in a comedy! As for actresses or actors I would want to work with; Jennifer Lawrence, Paul Rudd, jack black, Tobin Bell

- Is there anything else you would like to let TWD Fans and your fans know?
My goal is to rise up and get actual roles someday
Even as a stunt double or photo double
I will someday be where I want to be! Be ready to see me on the big screen someday
