Caroline Gay Interview
I'm afraid of zombies!

- Hello Caroline Gay and thank you for your time for the Fans of WearetheWalkingDead.de.

- Caroline , When was the time you know you want to be an actress?

Hello Bernd and thank you for your interest in my work. I think I wanted to be an actress around the age of 7, I put on my first play at school, at that age! Then I did amateur theater and became a professional at 18

- You worked in one of my Favorite series. "The Walking Dead - Daryl Dixon". How did you get cast?

It was funny because I was filming in Brittany, for a really exhausting film (in the middle of winter, at the sea, I had many scenes outdoors or even in the water!) and so I made the cast by tape, with the help of the production manager. We had a good laugh doing that! I had two scenes to play, of a character who wasn't very likeable...

- Which role did you play in the series?

I played a kind of governess, Marie, who plays a double game.

- Did you watch the show or read the graphic novel, prior to your casting to The Walking Dead?

You know, you're going to find this crazy, but I've never watched The Walking Dead, not even the episodes where I play... because I'm afraid of zombies!

- Working in TWD Universe, What is the first what you remember when you look back on set?

We were filming in a very beautiful mansion in Paris, and the sets were magnificent, and then I really like Clémence Poésy, we already knew each other. And fortunately, there were no zombies in my scenes!

- Here’s a fun little hypothetical for you.How would you fare in a zombie apocalypse?

I think it would be just awful, I'm so scared... I've thought about it, because it terrifies me! I'll probably kill myself (yay)

- You worked in so many movies and series like "Bardot" , "The Last Night" , "A Place to fight for" and many more. What your personal Highlight so far?

Filming with Vincent Lindon, then with Virginie Efira, who are big stars here in France!

- Is there any dream role or actor/actress you would loved to work in the future?

I would love to work with the Safdi Brothers, their films are exceptional.

- Is there anything else you would like to let TWD Fans and your fans know?

Thanks to you and all the fans!

- That's a perfect way to end! I can tell you that the fans at WeareTheWalkingDead.de are really excited about this show and Thank you taking the time for me.
