Here the Second edition for October 2025 Question
"If you weren´t playing your character , which other role would you have loved to play ?"
Lance Herota
If I wasn’t so busy with creature stunts in this Universe I think it would have been a lot of fun to
double Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Who doesn’t want to be the bad guy? Ben Aycrigg was a great double for him. Fortunately with stunts we work all over on different movies and shows. Walking Dead just kept me extremely busy!
Tonya Pinkins
I would have liked to play Carol
Dusty Lee Horne
That's a good question. I have always been fascinated with monsters and the process of making normal people into monsters. If I had to choose one, I would say one of the prison survivors in Season 3. I think that would fit me more than other roles.
Joey Rodriguez
I think it would have been great to play the role of lead savior
Lavon Youins
Since I never watched any of the TWD franchise (I know, I know; everyone tells me that I need to), I genuinely don't know because I hardly know any of the characters, much less their backstories!
I would love for a brand new character be created for me; somebody very meta. I can imagine that in The Walking Dead universe, zombie lore is already popular so I would love to play a character who - pre-pandemic - was a socially-awkward, desperate horror nerd who, in his free time, came up with zombie scenarios that he would post on YouTube vlogs, so when the zombie outbreak hit he probably followed his own instructions and, aided by sheer dumb luck, managed to survive, even though he's so helpless that a coyote could have probably gotten him if he stayed out too long, haha. I think it's important for any story to bring levity to dark situations to give the audience breathing room,
But I'd like for him to have that "edge," too; shocking moral compromises he had to have made in ensuring his survival.
Or, and this is wonderful in my eyes, I would love for The Walking Dead to acknowledge the Hoodoo origins of zombie lore into the franchise, so maybe I can be someone who practices the Hoodoo religion, but I was also a chemistry doctoral candidate pre-pandemic, so I'd be in my lab, like a mad scientist, creating zombie powders out of actual zombie bodies to hypnotize humans to do my bidding, and making sacrifices to the Voodoo Loas. Anything I've ever seen in modern zombie media, no one has ever tackled their Black Hoodoo origins, and I think that acknowledgment is so important - and VERY overdue.
John David Bulla
I would've loved to play Jesus
Pete Pitts
If I wasn’t playing Roger Clay, as a savior in Negan’s army, I would have liked to play one of Rick’s core group members. The family bond they share is profound!
Brian Sheppard
Oh gosh! My dream role was always Daryl! I’ve followed Norman for decades and just knew we were so similar
Jason Cone
If not a Gearhead I would love to have been a featured or Hero Walker! I applied for almost every walker role on Season 8 of Fear the Walking Dead and unfortunately never got to experience being a walker. When I first applied I weighed over 300lbs. Trying to live out my dream as a walker I went on a diet and have since lost over 100lbs! FTWD not only gave me the opportunity to be on one of my favorite shows, it also gave me the motivation to make some lifestyle changes for the better! Big zombie ????? love?
Greg Crews
Well to know me is to know i love the absurd and wierd. Frank Dre bin is a fictional hero. So here is my answer
If I wasn’t playing my character, I think it would be hilarious to be the guy who somehow survives because he’s completely oblivious. Like, he’s walking through a herd of walkers but doesn’t notice them because he’s too busy talking about how he misses peanut butter or how his socks are never the right size. Everyone else is on edge, and this guy is just casually strolling through the end of the world like it’s a Sunday afternoon. Oddly enough, his cluelessness keeps him alive.
Sonya Thompson
I would loved to have played the role of Carol. She overcame the odds that were stacked against her. She grew a backbone and stood up, becoming one of the strongest characters in the show.
David Jones
Probably Negan, as a character who was able to lead such a large group it would be interesting to see someone with a military background portray a character like this. Instead of a character smiling all the time, it would be more stone-cold.
